This journal is made with excellent quality materials. It is a user-friendly, sturdy, laminated hardcover, hidden wirebound book which can be folded for ease of writing. The lined journaling pages are perfect for writing in both ink and pencil, and hold up very well to erasures. Because the printed journals use paper especially for journaling, the high quality photos contained in the book will appear a little less sharp than in an electronic file (i.e. on this website) or on high gloss paper (with the exception of the cover and liner pages, which have a gloss factor). Also, because of varying computer monitors, ink processes and papers, the colors may vary slightly from what you see on your computer. We are certain you will be pleased with this beautiful children's journal. It is entertaining and inpsirational, and will make a great gift for any child. Recommended for ages 6-10.
Hi! I’m Rene Schlimm. Born and raised in the great state of New York, I have been living in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona most of my adult life. I am married to Karl Schlimm, and we are the very proud parents of a bright and beautiful son, Nick (pictured with me here). I am also an actress and voice-over talent, and absolutely adore reading to and writing for children, not to mention creating fun character voices! Dr. Seuss stories are some of my favorites! As a member of Arizona BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools), sponsored by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, I very much enjoy getting to know the various personalities of all the wonderful children with whom I am able to share my love of reading aloud.
